Ponderous Diagnosis

Experts call for simplified diabetes diagnosis – The Globe and Mail.

It seems that a fasting plasma glucose test and the oral glucose tolerance test are ponderous ways to diagnose diabetes. You also need a fasting blood sample for cholesterol, the A1C won’t change that.

ponderous –adjective – Dictionary.com.

1.     of great weight; heavy; massive.
2.     awkward or unwieldy.
3.     dull and labored.
